Exciting.....

One of my best friends (who is actually still my friend from H.S.years)is back from Iraq for a short bit. He heads back soon to finish his time over there. But thankfully some of us got to spend some time with him today. Chris had to work but we plan to have Stephen and his girlfriend, Mandy over for dinner so Chris can visit with him too. Stephen has been an amazing friend to me over the years and we have been through a lot together, so getting to see him is always nice. Allie and him are great friends too. She has known him since she was 3. Everytime she has had a health issue, he is always been there to cheer her up. He really is one of the sweetest guys! No matter how busy his life is, he always makes time to be there for us. (Thank you Stephen, you mean more then anything to us and you are always in our prayers. Be safe on your travels back! We all love you!)

Steve Butt wasn't sure of this idea.... haha.....

and this is why.... it was SO funny, he had a blob of whip on his head until it fell off! :)

Fall In Colorado... Beautiful

So, Miro just sent me this picture. I thought I would share it with everyone. I love his work! What beauty and talent God has put on this earth!

Oh and....

We're thinking about it and we shall decided by April what we want to do but...... we may try for a baby next summer. I need to get my blood run and my mom is going to this natural doctor. She said she can give me a mouth swap and figure out whats wrong and fix the problem so I won't miscarry again. It should be interesting. First I am going to have my blood run and find out what I am lacking so I can get healthy. And next year I will do the mouth swap. If we feel we haven't got enough done then we shall wait to fall time to try for a summer baby! We shall see. Of course we are going to pray about it but Chris and I have really been talking about it a lot and I really feel I should be ready by next year. We have been struggling over the loss of our baby lately so we want to work through all that, then we want to start our family! It so cute to listen to Chris and hear how excited he is to start having kids. He wants them so much. Chris plays with our neighbors baby all the time. Their baby loves Chris. He cried when we drove away the other day. How cute is that? Chris said all he wants is to have a baby like that who just adores him and wants to hug him. It's so sweet. Chris has such a great heart! So keep us in your prayers! We are getting excited!

Our week/weekend

This past week was full of "getting stuff done". We had our 1 year house walk through.Which meant I needed to pick up a little bit. The walk through was interesting. The warranty guy isn't someone who should be in customer service AT ALL. He has absolutely NO people skills and I am start to see he doesn't like woman and he is VERY sarcastic. Well, when your doing a walk through and people have complainants you better know how to deal with them.... we of course he doesn't. So, I ended up saying a few "oh so very kind" ...haha.. words to him during the walk through and then he ended up leaving because I told him off. Chris was trying to get him out of the house. It was pretty funny. For one when he comes in the door he answers his phone and stands in our living room for like 5-10 min talking. RUDE. Then we had a complaints (of course) and one was about our bedroom door. The hole they made for it
to shut is way to big.So, it shakes a LOT and its annoying! But he decides to tell us that it's "Normal Homeowners Maintenance". Sure yes I can understand, like Chris told him...yea let me go get my wood shrinking tool out and fix it because some how we made that happen. Sometimes I had to hold back from laughing because we decided to mock him just as much as he put us down. THANKFULLY we are down with dealing with that idiot! :) We are going to complain to their Cali branch. A neighbor who we are friends with told us who we can talk to, to make a difference. So that's what we are going to do.

Wednesday... I got my hair colored! I was very excited about it!:) And then rest of the week I got wash done and got rid of our dead flowers and cleaned whatever needed to be cleaned!

Friday late afternoon my Aunt stopped by on her way back home to visit and eat dinner. She hasn't seen our house since it's been finished. So that was really nice to have her over. It's honestly so weird to have a relative visit who lives near by. I love it. I cooked dinner which ended up taking forever! But oh well. I thought it tasted pretty good in the end... so I guess that's all that matters. Hopefully my Aunt will visit us more often. We want to go see her place this coming weekend. We all are looking forward to it. She is good at designing so hopefully I will get some help when I need it!:) She knows how to redo everything it seems and I am new to all that so it will be fun to have her help!

Here's the beautiful Roses My Aunt bought me! (Thank you SO much)

My BEAUTIFUL Aunt Rita and I.... I think my mom and her look alike....

After dinner my Aunt needed to head back to house. IT was getting late. One of my friends Erin decided to come up and spend the night because she had to work in Denver so we hung out and watched a movie.... Chris stayed up till 1:45 in the am. Can you believe it. That's VERY impressive for Chris if you didn't know.

Saturday we had errands to run on in the springs. After that we met up with my brother and headed back to our house to hang out and spend the night. Once we got home lighting started striking and then it started raining then hailing out. I love rain and so does Chris! We opened the door and watched it!

Our Front Porch

Sunday we woke up early to go get a freezer @ SAMS Club because we need more room for food but since it was raining we decided to wait till another day. We didn't want to bring it backed soaked. But we ended up getting some Lincoln Logs for our future kids. Chris and I always loved them so we wanted some for them. Once we returned home the rest of my family came over. Allie Played with the Logs while My mom and I made homemade Chicken Soup. She use to cook it for us growing up... so I wanted to learn how to make it myself. We both made our one batch. After that we watched HOW TO USE our Food Processor. We haven't used it since we got it for our wedding so I decided to pull it out and see what it could do. OH MY GOSH. I couldn't be more greatful for that present. It does EVERYTHING we needed. We were going to buy a meat slicer to make slicing food in the kitchen faster, well forget that... this thing does so much!
After that we played a few games and hung out. And that's about it. A few other friends came over throughout the evening and then I started organizing our baby/guest room for KRISTYN! Chris and I can't wait for her to come live here!

Allie Building the Town!

How Cute is that!

All of us cooking our soup!

Arron watching a movie on his laptop...my dad headed back home so I don't have a picture of him!

Well, that's about it for now. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Keeping busy

So we have all the shelves up. I still have yet to decorate and finish the rest of the dinning area but this is what it looks like as of now. What you see on the shelf is NOT whats going to be up. I just set it there to get an idea. We still need the chalk boards and I am trying to come up with some more ideas.

Makin Chris do all the dirty work!

My camera was messing up... so there's weird lines in the picture

Here's an idea of a Chandelier that we would like to put in.....

Our weekend went well. We rested and cooked up some food. Nothing to exciting. We really needed a break from going every weekend. We have been so worn down lately so it was nice to just lounge around.

I finished our Halloween invites.

Some exciting news... My best friend EVER, Kristyn is planning on moving here in January "ish". We are all very excited for her move....YEA! She plans to be here in Colorado for about a year, unless God leads her to stay longer. (we all wouldn't mind) It's going to be SO nice to have my childhood friend live by me again. It's more then a dream come true! :) (I love YOU Kristyn)

That's about it for now....

Oct is Here

So, I told you all that I was going to be getting some stuff done for our Halloween Party. Of course I want it to be nice not all gross. Otherwise I wouldn't be decorating it.:) But I finished a little project that I wanted to do. We don't have tons of money to waste but we both figured this one was worth while and of course cheap!

What do you think?

We are going to put up a spider... a big spider... in the kitchen once the party gets here. But for now this is what we made.I am still working on our invites... I will post a picture of them once they are made. It should be super cute!

Here's the start...

Here's pictures I promised I would post awhile back from when my mom and I organized the basement. We still have some to finish but this is what I wanted finished first... An area for Chris to lift.

We hung Black Shower Curtains by wire to separate his area....

To the right I covered these mattresses with sheets to make a hangout area.(we have been storing them so I figured why not just use them, then have them lean up against the wall. Our neighbors say it's where Chris has to sleep when he does something bad... I thought that was pretty funny. Don't worry I wouldn't do that!Chris says he wouldn't mind)

Chris bench area.... I still have more to hang up. It's something until we ever finish the basement.. right!? I need to hang up some mirrors, maybe!

And here's the less exciting stuff... for me it's exciting. We moved this unit by the stairs so I could store glass wear and dishes I don't use everyday but that I need access too. We are still not finished with it... as you can see.

And that's it for now. I shall have more later. Chris is working on our dinning room shelves.

Just gettin' stuff done

Not to much new is going on. I helped Stephanie out last week at Red Robin Corp. in Denver. It was a lot of fun. It's such a fun environment to work in. It looks like Red Robin only Office Cubical style. Very fun and motivating. Besides that we spent our weekend getting errands done. We ordered/bought some things at Pottery Barn and then they ended up being wrong once we got home. So we spent the next day trying to return them in Denver. What a mess. But we got that taken care of though.Thankfully. We also went over to Todd and Sarahs for a late dinner Saturday. We were suppose to BBQ with Heather and Sean but it was to windy. So we headed over to Todd and Sarahs for a late dinner. It was very good and we enjoyed a few rounds of catch phrase. Sunday was the day we spent returning items. I also got up early to print some pictures for Allie. She went on Sunday to meet with a Talent Scout for fun. So I had to get her pictures ready and then do her hair. Allie looked beautiful AS ALWAYS! :)

Miro took this picture... I edited her name and DOB in....

Posing for the camera after she got back from the interview

Allie and the Talent Scout

Sunday evening we had Todd and Sarah over for dinner. Heather and Christian ended up coming over too. Sean went out of town for the week. So of course Heather didn't want to be home alone on a weekend. We all had a blast. My parents and Allie were there for a good part of the evening after Allies interview. It was a lot of fun.

Monday I helped out again to get everything finished up at Red Robin. And the rest of this week I have been trying to get the house back together after being so busy! I am also working on the planning of our Halloween Party. I am going to be making some stuff today for it. I will take some pictures!

This is Todd and Sarah.... so you can put a face with a name.

And this is Adam and Stephanie (This is who works at Red Robin)

This is Coby. The first person we became friends with. Chris and I met him outside when we were stuck in the snow and Chris and Coby were both trying to board. Coby has a 7year old daughter. He's the only single guy in our group!

Once I get more pictures of our neighborhood friends I will post them.
